Who to Turn to in an Emergency |
|
Emergencies can range from serious situations like injuries to trivial ones like
a pimple before an important date. It's always helpful to have someone to turn
to for assistance and advice. In my case, my eldest sister is the go-to person
in any emergency. She is calm, decisive, and takes control of the situation.
When my father suffered a mild heart attack, she called for an ambulance and
talked to him continuously to ensure he didn't fall into a coma. She is the
right choice for me in any emergency.
My brother-in-law is also reliable in handling emergencies. He has a lot of
contacts and knows many people from all walks of life who can help in different
situations. When our family car stalled in the middle of a highway in the early
hours of the morning, he responded promptly and towed the car away within twenty
minutes. He is efficient and always willing to help those in need.
For emergencies that require a cool head and intelligence, my good friend Jason
is the best person to turn to. He always has creative ideas on how to tackle
problems. When we were in Form Two, he helped me complete a research project on
the business of shares trading by pretending to be an interested customer with
lots of money to invest. His confident articulation convinced the trader and we
got a first-hand account of trading.
While it's great to have people to rely on in an emergency, it's also important
to learn how to handle problems on your own. You may not always find help when
you need it, so being self-sufficient and confident in meeting life head-on is
crucial.
In conclusion, having someone to turn to in an emergency can be extremely
helpful. Whether it's a calm and decisive sister, an efficient brother-in-law
with many contacts, or a creative friend, knowing who to rely on can make a
difference. However, it's equally important to develop self-sufficiency and
confidence to handle emergencies on your own when help isn't available. |
