A Visit to the Magnificent Xia Mountain Reservoir

Today, my uncle led his family and ours to the beautiful Xia Mountain Reservoir. My heart was filled with joy.

After an hour's drive, we finally arrived at the reservoir.

After having lunch, the two families walked along the path next to the reservoir. The shade and the gentle breeze made us feel relaxed and happy. Occasionally, a few leaves would fall down from the trees, swaying in front of us. The leaves were so green, and it seemed like they didn't want to touch the ground. We followed the wind and saw a small pavilion at the top of the reservoir. People inside were enjoying the magnificent view of the reservoir, and they looked like small figures walking back and forth. I couldn't wait to run over and see the true grandeur of the reservoir.

Wow! I exclaimed in my heart as I looked at the vast reservoir. It seemed endless. I was attracted by its grandeur. The water rose and fell like a collective performance of sea lions, so organized. People playing in the water were having so much fun, and the atmosphere was truly cheerful!

Finally, we went for a swim. My mom bought a swimming ring for me, and even though I didn't know how to swim, I was very happy. After we got out of the water, our faces were filled with joy.

We had to leave, and I turned back to take a last look at this beautiful reservoir. It seemed like it didn't want to say goodbye, waving at us and welcoming us to come again. I took a deep breath:

Reservoir, you are still so magnificent and impressive. You bring joy to people and make them feel the excitement of swimming. You also bring the cruel scars caused by human activities, reminding us of the importance of protecting the reservoir.

Let's start with ourselves and protect the ocean, protect our Xia Mountain Reservoir.
