Finding Solace in Nature |
|
If the spring breeze cannot untangle your tangled thoughts, if the summer
cicadas cannot dispel your languor, if the autumn leaves cannot wither away
your sorrows, if the winter snow cannot freeze your desolation, then please
go and embrace nature, get close to nature! Take a break for your own mood,
for the rivers and mountains always hold emotions.
In the past period of time, due to various reasons, my emotions were
particularly low, and I found myself gradually entering a closed world,
unwilling to communicate with others. Suddenly, I felt that life had
generated too many thoughts that couldn't be sorted out, and for a moment, I
couldn't find a clue. So I wanted to go to the seaside alone, to give myself
a chance to be alone.
I like the sea because standing on the soft sandy beach, blowing the sea
breeze that comes head-on, I can sort out those tangled emotions. Watching
the waves crash against the rocks, seagulls frolic on the sea, I forget
about the unpleasant things. Enjoying everything in the present moment,
giving my mood a break.
Hai Zi said, "Facing the sea, spring comes with warm blossoms." Indeed,
facing the boundless sea, countless emotions surge in my heart. I think
everyone needs a chance to be alone, because when alone, one can simplify
some complex problems; I think everyone wants to give themselves a chance to
be alone, because when alone, one can quiet the mind, reminisce about the
beautiful past and plan for the future. So, choose the seaside as the place
for your solitude! It can create the best environment for your solitude.
By the seaside, I straightened out my thoughts and everything became clear.
By giving myself the opportunity to be alone, I found that many problems
that were difficult to understand in a noisy environment could be easily
solved when I was alone.
A group of young boys and girls in their prime, carrying their recent
worries and sorrows, went to the deep mountains and forests, trying to bury
some unpleasant past there.
I like mountain climbing because standing at the mountaintop, I can feel the
rushing mountain wind, waking up my exhausted brain. Looking down from the
mountaintop, I realize how arduous the long journey to the top is. Isn't the
path of our lives just like the path we walk when climbing a mountain? Full
of hardships and dangers, but in the end, there is a reward.
With excitement in our hearts, but also with tired bodies and minds, we
marched towards the mountaintop. Standing at the summit, inspired by a line
from Du Fu's poem, "One should meet the lofty heights, to see all mountains
appear small," all those sudden trivial matters, those worries that couldn't
be shaken off, those lonely and restless emotions, all vanished at this very
moment.
Give your mood a break, go and experience nature firsthand, get close to
nature. Feel everything that nature has bestowed upon us, and you will reach
an unparalleled state of mind. |
